Easter

It is hard to miss that it is Easter here. Good Friday and Easter Monday are holidays here. The bakeries are filled with ornate chocolate displays and the TV has had various local processionals and services from Rome. This picture is of one of the members of the Good Friday processional here in Barcelona. They wear an antifaz, covering the face of the penitent. The purpose is to keep the identity secret.

Happy post Easter greetings to you all. Had our neighborhood dinner last Saturday night and we toasted you with what little Spanish we know! Hope all is well. Thanks again for the great pics and the updates. BTW, we're experiencing a March 31/April 1 snowstorm, almost verging on a blizzard. Aren't you glad you're there?? Susan B

Greetings
