Birds other than pigeons actually exist in Spain

Today we went to a big park before our church service. We thought the service was at 10 am, so we arrived at 9:45 and found out that the service we wanted to attend started at 11:30. We decided to go to a park close to the church. We climbed a lot of stairs and found a really green park, filled with trees and an adundance of spring flowers and some orange trees. Dad decided to try an orange from one of the trees. He had a pleasant surprise when he found out they weren't very ripe. I had a pleasanter surprise laughing at his face of absolute disgust. He also decided to try a very old cactus and spewed it out as well. The cactus tasted better than the orange. This green bird we think is not a parrot, they fly in pairs and we've only found them in parks.
